Stationary mount for 1911 UP DATE NO LONGER LOOKING

I am looking for a stationary Optic mount for my 1911. Here is a pic of kinda what I'm looking for.
Any mount that works would be fine.

i would look into double tap sports, although i think most of their stuff is geared towards sti and tanfoglio.

Try ebay. I saw one there that mounts on the underside rail. No D & T required. Less than $20.

We have one of the Quinn 3 mounts but it is a sideways mount and it comes with an adjustable thumb rest. it is not currently listed on the web site but looks just like the Tanfoglio version you will see on our web site and the same price. The sideways mount put the optic closer to the slide which is advantageous for most people. You have to drill the frame to mount.

just FYI, mount labelled for a 2011 will work on your 1911 as well

For rimfires, yes. Not for centre fire. There is a universal bridge mount from Zahal which is more sturdy. Just not sure if this will fit a 1911.
