Had one last year (not one of the new infrared ones) got that pissed with it not working I couldn't tell ya where it is now...
I'm using a moultree 4.0 not infrared either... but I like it lots!
as you can see in the 3 shot string the buck is actually squinting from the flash.

Deer, mostly. I used to have a Bushnell one, took good pics but it leaked. And then a cow came by and squished against it and crushed it..

So I need a replacement. I'm htinking infrared because some areas are on public land, not far from roads, and I'd liek to avoid having it detected by a flash and stolen.:)

And then a cow came by and squished against it and crushed it..

I had to make a mount that could angle my camera downward because I put it 8ft up the tree trunk due to cows and bears.

I think due to that angling down though, the camera sensor does not get enough light, and it takes pics in IR mode 96% of the time.

I always have to try to mount my camera where the cows can't rub on it.
And the friggin things eat all of my apples when they find them.
Have to put some of them in the freezer.:D
As for the camera...I had two bushnells...didn't work for long. Then this year I got the Moultrie I50 (SIR $230) IR camera...LOVE it.
The battery life on this thing is amazing...I'm at about 500 pictures (most at night, so IR) and the thing is at 86% batt. life!!!!:) :D
