Steel cased ammo and chambers/actions

I've heard in the past about steel cased ammo with it's naturally harder properties being harder on chambers than brass (maybe match chambers?).

I shoot wolf all day in my AR and with it's sporting chamber I've never really given it any thought. Is it unwise to shoot steel in a certain type of chamber or action?

Any input would be appreciated.

It might be a factor if the cases were bare steel, but they're not.

Some are copper-washed while others are lacquered. So the steel on steel contact is minimized, if not eliminated.

Steel is also given different tempers (hardness) the hardness of you firearms chamber is many times that of the steel used in cartridge cases.

It won't hurt anything enjoy shooting.
