Finally - some hot weather !
A couple of reminders for the upcoming matches :
Aug 7 and 8 is the big WRAS Steel Challenge match at SGGC.
A total of eight stages will be set up for the match, and they will remain set up for both days. This provides tremendous flexibility in how you can shoot the match, and even allows for weather issues.
You can show up either Saturday or Sunday to shoot the eight stages with one, two or three guns, but remember that while you can probably shoot one or two guns in a day, if you try and shoot three guns on Sunday you will probably run out of time. Any stages left unshot Sunday at 5PM means a DNF for that specific gun.
A few very important things to keep in mind.
1) We need people at the range at 8AM on Saturday to finish the setup - stage layouts and base placement will already be done, but final target assembly will be needed - shouldn't take long.
2) We need people to RO the various stages - if you are qualified, please let us know and plan to give back to your fellow shooters for a few hours - thanks.
3) Bring your lunch and lots of water
4) Bring a friend !!! Shooting steel is one of the best ways to introduce a new shooter to our fun !
5) PRIZES - We will have a RANDOM draw for gun shop gift certificates ! This means that the slowest shooter has just as much chance of going home with a substantial prize as does the top blaster !
