steel or "premium" jerry can

What do you consider 'premium'?

The Scepter Nato gas cans are what I consider premium. For most users they are total overkill.

The new Scepter 20L red ones you can get at Costco with the vent in the handle (finally!) are the best bang for your buck - bar none.

Steel gas cans? What century is this???

You can get the same scepter cans with the vent in the handle in blue at princess auto. Red is for Gas.

DS Tactical in Vancouver. Get the Scepter gas and water. Get the gas spout and wrench. Cheaper than anywhere, in stock, awesome store, glad it's not here. The gas spout and wrench are required, not extras. I can pack gas in truck with other stuff and no leaks, no smell, and 20 litre fits under tonneau perfectly. By cheaper, less than half price of eBay.

I know about the sceptre. Im asking about the two different metal cans on the CA website. one is 10$ more then the other.

I have some costco sceptre cans too already

The old metal NATO cans (design borrowed from the German WWII cans) used to be the gold standard at a time when plastics were not good enough (mainly there was the fear plastics would charge up with static electricity)
The new plastic NATO cans, the Scepter ones, are every bit as good, perhaps even better when banged around.

well, there's your answer (you can skip the "made in Europe" part)

regular:
20 Litre capacity
NEW production not surplus
Made in Europe

Premium
Made in Europe
0.9mm Steel
Internally lined to prevent corrosion
Fully welded handles
UN Certified for Fuel Use

edit: it could be just a gimmick from the vendor. The cans are listed as having the same weight so the metal thickness and the welds must be pretty much the same.

Indeed I can read and did so with the descriptions. Hence my questions to CA

The premium can has full welded handle and a fuel resistant liner as well as a firmer cap locking pin. They are both excellent cans, but just some extras on the premium
