You have to pattern every load.Every gun is different, every choke and every load.

It might shoot #2 & #4 steel tight but anything bigger like BB or BBB and you might get blown patterns. IM is a little to tight for larger steel shot but you would have to try it and see how it works for your gun. Make sure the choke is marked for steel as there are many IM that are not.
