Steel sks 30/5 mags in stock

Are the reliable?

I posted in another thread about these asking that. My experience with them hasn't been the best, I had 5rd mags and they were always stove piping even after filing and spring adjustments.

Are the larger mags any better?

I've heard both sides of the story. Some never have problems with them while others say they constantly bungle. I own a couple of Tapco mags, which work very well. This will be my first metal mag but I like the look of metal with the original SKS wood stock and even if it doesn't work great I'd rather have one than not. When I switch to synthetic stock I'll like the look of the Taps better.

so these can slip into the wood stock?

neat!

Yes, they fit wood with no mods. We got the best quality ones we could find, they are thick metal. We ran snap caps thru our demo & it fed everything, but i havent had a chance to get to the range with one yet.
