Steel targets

I have the champion target tree like this:

It works great and is lots of fun especially if there are a couple of shooters. Each person can take a side and try keep all the targets on the other person's side.

Mine has seen a lot of use and is still going strong. I had to repaint the targets with some florescent orange because they were getting a little hard to see with open sights.
I like that one, where at? how much?

What about a 22mag? Also too much?

I have one of these, one of the top ones and one of the silhouete ones in my backyard range. All from Champion Targets. On my silhouete one the tagets stay up also till released by a hit on the round target. My only complaint on the duelling tree is that the targets don't lock to one side or the other so you can't really duel as such but other than that it is a hoot. Shoot up one side and back down the other and see how few bullets you can do it in. I wish I could find a cheap IPSC timer so we could see how fast also. The top one and the silhouete one are also huge fun. Both have taken thousands of hits from 20-50+yds and are still going strong. When the plates on the swinger get too bent I just squash them flat with my large vise. Use of .17 rimfire is not recommended on any of them if I remember correctly.

That's strange, I wonder if it depends on the ammo used. Maybe higher velocity ammo makes it flip with enough force that it bounces right back. I have only used the federal value pack ammo on mine and it has always locked to either side very reliably.
