What are the thoughts regarding the difference in wear on the rifling between copper jacketed bullets and steel jacketed bullets? By steel I mean the ones that are attracted to a magnet. I have about 200 224 steel jacketed bullets but don't know if I should use them??? Comments.

I cut one in half and they are steel core with, what looks like a very thin copper jacket covered with a coating that looks like steel. Thanks

You will find copper coated steel, but never steel coated copper. You likely have those bullets off eBay, and other places, that were nickel plated copper. Just watch for fouling as nickel can be a pain to clean. The older Swiss GP90 bullets were nickel plated.
