LMAO, I wonder if the R20 is a Raven copy?
They copied the ATRS modern sporter with their TR, guess time will tell.
You should see the results of testing with the R18 Mk3 here on CGN in the coming weeks. An exact ETA for the test rifles is not yet known due to international supply chain hiccups. I have seen detailed photos of the R18 Mk3 exterior and interior and am duly impressed with the improvements from the Mk2 to the Mk3. The new rifle features a revised, self-regulating Gas Block, improved Ambidextrous Bolt Catch, and self-contained Bolt/Carrier/Spring/Guide Rod Assembly. it is both lighter and less expensive to manufacture than the Mk2, and will sell for considerably less. I will leave it to SAI to explain how they achieved this surprising feat of doing more for less $$.
I have no visibility on the .308 project other than an awareness that it is very much proceeding.
Yes. Think off-shore manufacturing of major components with Canadian assembly and final QC. Nobody can pay Canadian machinist wages and produce an economically-priced rifle from Billet aluminum. This is the unfortunate reality of Canadian "productivity". We seem to have priced ourselves out of the fabrication market. More's the pity for Canadian tradesmen who need work....Both lighter and less expensive than the Mk2? Now I'm interested...
I've spoke to JR. There was no theft involved. It is certainly too early to be suggesting theft of intellectual property, as you are insinuating
I know. But as you can see from my earlier post, some still want to believe the worst of JR Cox for whatever reason....I've spoke to JR. There was no theft involved.
