Has anyone tried this ammunition in their SKS, either Russian or Chinese? Looks like it’s quality ammo, FMJ, lead core bullets, boxer primed, brass cased. It’s a bit pricy though at $0.80/round (approx.). Just looking for feedback from someone who has tried it.

Sounds like a good price for brass cases.
To update this thread. I don’t even know if Sterling Cross is still in business. Their 7.62x39 shot well in my old SKS’s, But I have now bought a CZ Alpha in 7.62x39 and it just does not fire. Even with multiple primer strikes. Only about 1 in 3 will fire. No problem using Winchester or Hornady factory 7.62x39 in the CZ. I haven’t tried any Norinco or milsurp in the CZ yet. That might happen on my next range day.
Likely just good for Milsurps. I have a Ruger Ranch in x39 and it doe fine with Barnaul, Chinese MS, Romanian, Norinco NC - so far. I can get MOA wiith most of those and I just have a Vortex 20X BDC scope. Reasonably priced x39 Non-MS and NC is rare out East.
I was getting about 1.25” groups with the old Hornady SST 123gr stock #8078 cartridge. Using a cheap Bushnell Banner scope. The box (50ct) that I have has a price tag of $51.99 on it, that to me was reasonable. I went looking for more online and was disappointed to find that it’s discontinued. Now to find dies and bullets and start reloading for it.
I am getting 3/4"-1" groups at 100m with those SST's on top of 25.5 gr. RL7. I have a Howa mini action and my brother has the CZ and that load performs beautifully out of both platforms.
