I've only seen them for sale on equipment and exchange a few times over the years. You could keep an eye out, but don't hold your breath. Also be prepared to pay a lot.

Same, as I recall the last one I saw was asking upwards of $6k

I saw Salter had a deactivated model on his site and they are only restricted.

I saved a CBS mk8 not long ago. British stamps. Think about that. The Holy Grail of all sterlings sitting in a Sask gun shop unknown.
Wilke must of bought it in. Only 70 ever produced. Almost demilled but some guy kept low balling the price.

i snapped it up without a second thought. Looking for the mk6 now, All live, deactivated are like refinished antique furniture.
The mk8 must of came in with the MK9s, Forget how many Sterlings are in Canada including the mk4s

I had a chance to buy either a TNW MG34 for 4K or a Police Carbine for 3k in 2011. I chose the MG34. Wish I had enough for both at the time.

To bad we couldn't convert L2A3's to Police Carbines
