Steven’s visible loader

Does anyone know where i could find a Steven’s Visible loader? Anybody selling one? I can’t find anything in the way of leads in Canada for one. I don’t have any rim fire rifles and i typically like unusual actions or rifles so it seems like it would be right up my alley.

They are around. Its one of those things you'll find when you least expect it. I had one, it did not work too well, most don't.

I've always found the action to be very interesting but have never once seen one in person that wasn't either non-functional or in very poor condition (usually both). Check out your local gun shows, you might get luckier than me.

Well looks like I found one! Not sure of when it was produced but it seems to be an earlier one. It functions perfectly and the finish is insane for the age. Rifling is still strong and the bore is bright. I still can’t believe just how small it is. Very happy to knock another gem off the ol wanted list

I heard they like shorts a little more than LR. I’m bringing it and some other toys to the range this evening to see if it’ll run some lower powered 22lr

A lot of the 22s of this age should only be used with standard velocity 22lr (~1050fps) not high velocity (1200+fps) stuff.

- fun as a oddity, not something I buy as a regular shooter

Took it out to the range a few times now, had light hammer strikes the first time. Took it home and cleaned it up a little bit and it works like a charm now! No issues with loading or ejection at all, I refused to get a .22 because I just find them boring but this one makes shooting those pretty fun.
