What is this rifle like Steven made by Savage is it as ####tie as the 710 modlel made by Rem :? what cal can you buy it in

you can get it in 223 rem,22-250 rem,243 win,7mm-08 rem,308 win, for the short action and for the long action 25-06 rem,270 win,30-06,7 mm rem mag,300 wm

I haven't used either of these but have heard a few people say to get a Savage with Accutrigger for a few extra dollars instead of the nearly identical Stevens. The price is still pretty reasonable. Reminton 710 has a bad reputation and would be very difficult to resell.

My buddies 7 mm short mag package series gun $500 shoots better than my Remington Sendero BB $1000.

That should tell you what I think! (I don't know why I don't just stick with Savage and Tikka's)

You'd do well to pick up a Savage package rifles or one of the Stevens [Savage] rifles... :D

The Rem 710 on the other hand is a genuine POS...

My savage combo in 300 wm shoots better than my buddies tikka in 300wsm. He wants rid of his tikka in a bad way.

my Remingtons out shot my Savage

guess depends on the luck of the draw

Well that is few and far between let me tell you. I have shot a BUNCH of Savages and have NEVER shot one that shoot bad!!!!!

not saying mine shot bad, I'm just saying my Remingtons have been more accurate.

sold the Savage and don't miss it ONE BIT! :D

I agree with Tod, the Savage .223 I bought was not on par accuracy wise with the same caliber remington I replaced it with. Neither are the two savages my friends bought in the last year( one 270wsm and the other 300wsm), as accurate as my winchester 270wsm and another buddies Ruger 300wsm (surprisingly). Luck of the draw again! Most savages do shoot very well but I guess they all can't be perfect.

accuracy is one thing, but to me my Savage felt like a toy in my hands. just didnt feel like a real rifle

btw, it was a M11 synthetic in 300saum

I don't have alot of experience wtih Savages, since I have only owned a STEVENS, but I have loaded for some buddies that have Savage 110's or whatever.

They were pretty accurate, but not any more so than the Remingtons I have loaded for, either.
