I'd certainly not recommend the practice of double charging bullseye, there's a lot of powders much better suited to the job. If choosing a powder to blow up a gun, bullseye would be my first choice. Looking for the highest velocity, I'd want the slowest powders that would fill the case, and burn while the bullet was still in barrel. Power Pistol, Blue Dot and H110 would be the first ones I'd look at.

I agree...45 super is the way to go. I tested the bbl today, shoots nice, chronied in at close to 800 fps with 230g bullet
 
juanvaldez is a very talented gun guy. He can make everything from flinters to custom bolt guns. Very cool. I love carbines and I love that 200 shorty.
 
What I always think is ironic, is these threads, that generate a lot of interest, are things that the gun makers, would say are things they won't make, because nobody wants them. An accurate pistol calibre bolt action, would sell a lot more units than they might think.
