I am wondering what might be compatible for a 3.5X10X40mm VX3 .Have med Leupold rings would one need a two piece reversible base? Burris? Gun stores nowadays don't let you bring it in to try............Its for a 7mm mag..........any insight...........Harold

Harold, here's the best one I have found.
B-Square base #15552. Have had four of them. You can mount almost any scope with any eye relief using it. Short action uses #15553.
Won't work with Leupold rings, but there are plenty of quality saddle mount rings available these days.
