Stevens 200 stock swap...question

G'day out there lads! I kinda already know the answer to this...but I wanna be sure before I go ahead and order these stocks

An older Savage model 110 stock should fit my Stevens 200 7MM Mag as it is a long action correct?

And an older Savage Model 10 should fit my Stevens 200 7mm-08 as it is a short action?

Like I said I want to be sure before ordering these.

make sure your new stocks are blind magazine and not hinged floorplate or Detach mag

No - not that simple. Savage messed around with action screw locations on the long actions. You need to measure. A phone call to Boyd's and you will hear the exasperation in their voice.

Kinda defeats the purpose of the Stevens..... Was meant to be an "as is" econo rifle. Just paint the stock & carry on....
