Stevens 300 .22lr aftermarket stock?

I have a buddy looking for an aftermarket, or OEM thumbhole laminate stock for this rifle. Was just curious as to if any of you guys have any insight into if this rifle is the same action as any other savage rimfires or any canadian dealers for a stock for it?
