Hey everyone. I have a Stevens 300F and installed a Rifle Basix trigger. I have noticed after firing I am able to remove the bolt. I tightened up all the screws on the trigger and I am able to remove the bolt after firing 50% of the time.
I noticed the part of the bolt that engages the sear to prevent bolt removal is considerably worn. I recall seeing a thread that mentions filing this area but did not provide instructions. I have used the google and checked other forums (rimfirecentral and savageshooters) with no luck. I'm hoping someone can help me out.
