Stevens 301 front bead thread and scope base

I could not find this info anywhere so I thought I would share it:

Stevens 301 shotguns have a 3-56 thread size for the front bead.

As you may have guessed, H&R Handi rifle bases fit the Stevens 301 (has to be drilled and tapped).
