I just picked one of these this morning and I am amazed, in 6.5 creedmoor and what a tac driver, biggest 3 shot group was 1.3 inches, federal fusion 140gr 5/8s hole, this rifle is miles ahead of an axis or Ruger American, if I had to say anything bad it's a tad heavy, best $525 I ever spent

DANG. Thanks for the info. That seems to be consensus on these things.

Smooth, feels well built/reliable?

I fondled these at Cabelas a few months back. 20” 243 and 308 with the 6.5 at 22” iirc.
I agree that these appear to be tremendous value. The walnut stock was nice. I wasn’t interested in the plastic stocked ones.
The gun was solid, well fit, detach mag, proper shooting weight imo. I would compare them to a T3 if the 334 trigger was worked over. I believe they are manufactured in Turkey with a Stevens brand stamp.
Probably the single most attractive new rifle out there imo. Priced almost unbelievable.

From a guy who knows some nice rifles, thats praise alright.

Happy to hear it. Surprised too. Most Turk guns I've seen quite frankly suck

It was 2 stage but when I was turning the screw to adjust the trigger that eventually went away, little to no creep also

A very big pet pev for me is a 3 position safety which this rifle has, I had a Ruger American on my shoulder hunting in the bush nothing to thick. When I got back to my jeep the bolt was open and no round in the chamber, I always want to lock my bolt since then

Ok I didn't know this line existed

I'm sort of interested now to check one out

does not appear to have anything in common with all the other savage/stevens receivers and does not use a barrel nut

made in Turkey you say.....

Really wish these were available in lefty, saw them during last years shot show coverage and liked what I saw but alas they put the bolt on the wrong side with every one...

Curious to know where you found one for this price?
A few shops are selling them for north of $600?
