Stevens 425 35 Rem redo, lend lease.

I don't think lend-lease is the proper term, that was the USA, lending or leasing, basically giving away military equipment during WWII.

After Dunkirk, guns were collected from the public in Canada to send to Britain to arm them against the expected German invasion.

Exactly thank you, that explains it better. The guns they did collect for the trip across the sea were marked with british import marks like BP and BV. This gun has three different import marks like that. Bad picture of them.

Nice job!

NAA.

Took it to the range today, it shoots.

2 problems, one, the tang sight stem was to long and I had to shorten it when I got home so it's not technically sighted in but on the paper.

Other was that I noticed my primers were backed out a bit, nothing that really concerns me but still noticeable.
