I have a Stevens model 59A, .410 bolt action. It was given to be by an old guy I know, an has sentimental value, but probably not much actual value lol. The gun shoots fine, and if you hold it straight up and down, will cycle shells perfectly. However, it has the magazine tube like a 22, and the tube with the spring in it that pushes out the shells is missing. I'd like to fix it up and give it to one of my boys.
Any idea where you'd find a part like that, or any idea how I could rig up a spring to make it work ?

Had a tube laying around for a couple years and no idea what it fit. Checked online for a pic and found one for sale on E-Bay and looks like I have the part you need.

Discovered another very small missing part on the old gun. What does the safety pawl do ?...it's just a little steel tab on a hinge pin in the side of the bolt. Doesn't appear to mesh into anything, and the bolt works fine... But the little spring that is supposed to be under it is missing.
