Stevens Extraction issues

Just acquired a Stevens 8202B pump shotgun cheap. it will regularly extract dummy rounds, but will only extract 50% of live after firing. any ideas?

What type of ammo? Winchester by any chance?

why yes, live rounds were winchester. dummy rounds made from challenger shells and winchester

If with the silver metal ends, try another brand ie Remington or Federal. The cheap Winchester rounds are notorious for this issue.

Hey guys, would any of you know what would be causing my firing pin to not set off the primer on my stevens 39a bolt action 410? It's just making a dent in it and I would really love to get it firing again.
