This is a very nice & rare gun with the "Smokless" 44 1/2 frame. I have 2 in .25-20 SS & .32-40.
Also a .38-55 in the 44 BP frame. BUT ,,,, your reminds me of my Cooey Md.-75 in Smooth Bore
which I use for varmint control around the house . Works well for that & a good collectors piece.
I also have a smoothbore barreled Hi Standard Pistol which shoots shot shells well to about 2-3 yds.
I see you have a nice box of .32 RF Shot. If you were going to shoot this gun what would you do
for ammo.? Certainly this box is a collectors piece. Your gun is very nice as a collectors or shooters piece.

Hey cooey
Sounds like you have a couple nice rifles there , you
shoot them all in Black powder?

I do collect the Stevens Favorites in all calibres & variants
which get cleaned , cycled and shot.

Ammunition I acquire , accumulate , photograph & shoot , I
just don't collect it.

Does make for some S-pensive rounds tho.

Hey skwerl
I shoot snokeless in my Stevens. Both .32-40 & .38-55 use 7 gr. of Unique.
In my .25-20 SS I use H-4227. All with good results. I have used 2 F in .45-70
and well know all the cleaning involved both gun & cases.
