I'm rebuilding an ancient Stevens Favourite single shot rifle, and I'm looking for a tang sight that would fit the factory drilled and tapped tang holes. I've found some in the US, but they are all listed for the Stevens 44 and 44 1/2 actions. Does anyone know if these would fit the tang on the Favourite? I'm building a little .22 for my kids to learn on, and I'd like to be able to switch then from open sights to an aperture easily on the same rifle. I've checked with Western Gun Parts here in Edmonton, and they don't have anything that would work, so if anybody knows where I might be able to find one here in Canada, that would be great. Thanks for any input.
