Stevens Model 200 7mm Rem Mag

The Stevens Model 200 has everything needed in a good bolt-action hunting rifle. It is built around the time-tested Savage 110 action that is known for reliability and safety. The trigger is crisp, and the weight of pull on the rifle is just over four pounds from the factory. The combination of the black metal and gray stock makes for a really good-looking rifle.

You can't really get brand new hunting rifle much cheaper than this...these model 200's are incredible value.

Ugh, that's the retail price pretty much anywhere, but thanks. They sell as low as 340 but I won't say where. On a positive note I have purchased 2 of these in the last 2 months. 1 in .270 win the other .223, and they both group under an inch with the cheapest ammo I could find and with my cheap 3x9 and a little trigger adjustment! Thes are by far the best deal in a centerfire rifle out there! I don't think ill ever buy anything else for hunting purposes. Cheap, Light, and extremely accurate!

Heres what I think of my .223:
100 m with a piece of wood 3-9 scope, and factory Rem UMC 55 grain FMJ(cheapest you can buy)

This is after putting a 6-24 x 40 Bushnell on her, and with American Eagle 55 grain FMJ(again the cheap stuff) 1 flyer that I know was all me!! Still just over an inch.

I am amazed.. shoots under 1 inch at 100m no problem with a tesco scope and federal 55grain kind of pain in the ass to load it but besides that gonna buy one in 308 next..:)

For one, that is not true. You'l find many places selling for more.

For two, with what you would save by purchasing from a non sponser dealer, after tax, you would be lucky to get those small rifle primers that for some reason you are not able to find.

can I say Ugh now?

Actually I found a guy selling them for $25/1000 CCI! So STFU! And I am trying to help the OP sell these things if you hadn't seen my group postings to show what these can do.

Here is another:

Today with my first handloads! Best group of the day! The guy beside me told me to give his rear sandbag a try instead of just shooting off my bipod and look what happened. My last 3 shots of the day!!!!

I sold it because it was intended as an all around hunting rifle. Problem was there is regs here that limit coyote shooting to .270 so I bought the .270. Then found out how accurate these are and got addicted to printing groups. Just so I wouldnt go broke I decided to sell the .270 and buy the .223 and some reloading stuff. Now I am addicted to handloading and making tiny holes in paper!!!!!! LOL.

Sorry for being so confrontational. It just seemed like you were looking to pick a fight, when I was in fact tryin to help the OP out. I refrained from naming other dealers for his benefit to if you noticed.

My dad and I got together last year and bought my bro a Stevens model 200 in .243 for a Christmas gift (from the Wanstalls store here in Maple Ridge I might add). We are all amazed at how well it shoots..groups similar to pics posted in this thread. The model 200 may not be the most elegant rifle in the world but for a accruate hunting rifle, dollar for dollar they are damn hard to beat.
