Does anyone know if it’s possible to get parts for an old Double hammer shotgun? It’s a Stevens Model 235 and from what I can figure out it is an early version made between 1909 and 1915. It is missing both hammers and hammer retaining screws. Thanks for any info.

The likelihood of getting actual Stevens made replacements is low. You could ask Western Gun parts, Gun Parts Corp. Perhaps they have scrapped a 235 and have the parts. You could post in the EE.
You can buy matching sets of unfinished hammers which could probably be fitted. Check Dixie Gun Works.
Perhaps you could find a pair of hammers from a different gun that could be retrofitted.
If the gun is solid, and otherwise sound and serviceable, replacing the hammers could be an interesting project.
It would even be possible to make a pair if it came to that.

Thanks for the info. I’ll see what I can find. It’s my nephews shotgun that he was given and it’s in very rough shape. Seems to function alright but has seen a lot of use and neglect.
