I was just given a Stevens 620 stripped receiver in a bag with the bolt, trigger group and miscellaneous bits and pieces which I assume will allow for reassembly, as well as the 12 gauge barrel marked full choke along with the magazine tube and forend. The forend is in very good condition with no cracks or damage. The buttstock is missing.
I did a bit of research with google as I'm completely unfamiliar with this shotgun and see it was introduced in 1927.
Does anyone even use such a gun anymore?
And would anyone be in need of parts?

I'm just wondering if it's even worth putting on the EE or if it would just be better to toss it in a corner and forget about it for what little it would be worth.
I know an EE ad would tell me if there's any real interest, but before bothering I just wanted some opinions of those that might be familiar with this model.
Thoughts?

They are very nice trap guns to shoot. I own a Stevens 522 with a 32 inch barrel I think, might be a 30, that swings very nicely and absolutely love it.
Beautifully grained fancy checkered walnut furniture, love the takedown ability and a rare, what I call a mystery part that causes the slide lock to disengage under recoil.
If I were you, I’d definitely look into getting it functional and enjoy it.

You’ll have a difficult time tracking down the missing buttstock, but not impossible.

Numrich ships to Canada and stocks several parts for the 620 and 620A.

If you need, I have a few spare springs like the slide lock and sear springs and cartridge stop screws for it.

Good luck.

Thanks for the information and parts offer, much appreciated, but I've decided to just move it along since I don't really have any interest in restoring it to use.
I'm top heavy on shotguns at the moment 🙂
