Hey Guys

I'm looking at buying a Stevens Model 621 take down shotgun, I like the lines of these old guns. Does anyone have an approx value for a well used gun? It functions fine but shows it age, I'm guessing it is late 1940's early 1950's. Does anyone have any information regarding these guns.

Thanks in advance,
Bryansjeep

The design stems back to the Model 520...probably John Browning's least know creation. The unique takedown design was actually his second design as he had sold patent rights to Winchester for his original takedown that was introduced in the Model 1897 shotgun.

Thanks VTL79 for the info. I find it interesting that Mr. Browning had had some input into these guns, and what a legacy he has left for us.
