Stevens/Savage .410 bore bolt action.

I just recently took possession of a Stevens model 59A bolt action shotgun. Im looking for some information as to how remove the bolt. Any ideas would be appreciated.

There is a single screw near the back of the reciever, mine is a flat head. Just remove that and you can remove the bolt.

yup that worked... man this site is great LOL. only took 3 mins for a reply!!! funny enough that bolt fell out, accidentally, and i was able to get it back in by holding the trigger back. doesnt seem to work to remove it though
