I didn't forget about you, Trigun.
I put 50 rounds of 147 gr WinClean through my brand new Steyr on its debut outing, and I was very pleased with the results. No FTF/FTE, minimal muzzle flip, and I have no idea of accuracy, since my aim became terrible in my excitment. ^_^
The grip is fantastic, and it points naturally for me, and I had no issue with the sights whatsoever. Easy to pick up, and easier for me to align than standard sights (although I have only been shooting a couple of years, and not very regularly, so I haven't had time to develop a particular affinity for standard sights). The magazines were pretty easy to load to 8 rounds, and if I had cared to I'm sure I could've loaded 10 (I loaded 5 at a time for the most part, to prevent myself from unleashing the entire box in too little time). As far as recoil, it was fantastic for a polymer gun. Of the pistols I've shot, I'd say the amount of muzzle flip and felt recoil was most similar to the P226 ST that I shot previously, although it wasn't quite as easy to keep down as the P226 (but then, you could practically just lay one down on the table and fire it without holding it and it would stay on target). The other polymers that I've shot (Glock 17, SIG SP2022) had significantly more muzzle flip (the Glock especially, which I absolutely could not stand between flippiness and the grip).
This is one of my targets at 7m. I know it looks terrible, but that's all entirely my fault. The three on the bullseye are the only ones I managed to contain myself enough to actually take a breath and aim to any real extent. If an experienced shooter were to make use of my pistol, there would just be a ragged hole where the centre of the target should be!
So overall, two thumbs up for an incredibily comfortable, accurate pistol. The single issue I faced was that I received one or two pieces of brass on my head throughout the fifty shots I took.
