Hello,
I looked and couldn't find a post about this so i apologize if there is one here and i missed it. I have a Steyr M95 rifle in 8x56r and I am having issues with the enbloc clips. I have the right clips so that is not the problem. What happens is I load the clip, go to close the bolt and it runs into the clip, when I pull the bolt back the clip ejects and wont seat again until I cycle the rifle with the clip out. it then has the same problem all over again. the little clasp that locks in the enbloc clip appears to be fine and i have cleaned and oiled the thing, it all appears to be fine. Any help with this would be great, as I really like this rifle and would like it to work properly.

IS it actually hitting the clip, or hitting the rim of the top round? If the top round have you got your rims overlapped? That will bind it up.

I am not suffering from rimlock, I triple checked that one. My spring is there and functioning. I took it apart again and when i set the enbloc clip in with the receiver removed it seems to work just fine, the rounds are tighter then hell to push out with my finger but the clip stays in place, it all seems to fail once the receiver is set in place and tightened down. is there a chance that my carrier spring is too strong?

Did you check the stock inletting? Is something binding on the wood?

If you take the action out of the stock and re-install the magazine assembly, does it function correctly?
