A recent acquisition, I put together a few loads to see if this rifle had some potential.

The results were quite satisfying. (130 grain Barnes TSX with Reloder 22, Lapua brass, 2.5-10 Swarovski scope) Distance is 100 yards, shot from the bench.

The central square is one inch across so, it's nicely under a MOA. (Target should appear 90 degrees clockwise)

Well done. Can't tell from the pic, but does the rifle have single, single set or dual set trigger?

Thanks. It has a single trigger, so I assumed it was a single set trigger. However, the "set" feature doesn't appear to be functioning. Instead, the adjustment screws are sealed with white lacquer and the trigger functions as a two-stage trigger - long take up and clean release. I'll write the manufacturer to see whether it was made that way. Still, the performance is excellent.

If your Steyr trigger is similar to my Prohunter, you can remove that white paste and you can adjust the take-up a little. Steyr will tell you to not touch it, though.
