I am new to this forum.
I have been a gun nut all my life.
I own over 20 long guns, many that I never use.
I have always had the desire to own a Mannlicher.
I am going to sell off some of my unused guns.
Is a Steyr worth having or are the just wonderful to hold?

My full stock rifles are in smaller calibers 222, 223 and 250 Savage. Yes they are wonderful to hold, and shoot very well. CZ make some larger calibers in their 550 action. FS

The new Steyr rifles can be pretty plasticky, but some of the older(1952) full stock models are glorious and my vote for one of the nicest rifles ever, smoothest action ever.

There is a Man-Shoener in the Hunting EE Forum for sale for $995 it is a 30-06 and you will not find a Stery with the same slickness and quality in any other bolt gun available period, plus you would be helping out a fellow who has been affected by the down fall in the wood industry, best of luck dale

The Steyr rifles and particularly the older Mannlicher Schoenaur rifles are amongst the finest factory rifles ever made in my opinion, top workmanship.
