the bushing in the steyr sbs inside the receiver that inclosed the bolt head when it is closed.
how do you clean underneath it
in other words the space that is between this bushing and the receiver?

good point. I own one and haven't thought about it until you asked.
Without removing the barrel from the receiver the only thing I can think of is something like remington gun scrubber. Spray it in and let it drain.

How do you like your steyr Chilco is it a big bore?
I think I will plug the chamber poor in some cleaning agent let it stand than drain it and oil it

Hi Canuck,
The steyr is great! Mine is a Mountain model in .308. The stock isn't pretty like a CZ Lux but it's very comfortable, the length of pull is adjustable and I like the push and twist sling mounts. I find mine to be very accurate for a 20" barrel. I've been able to shoot a sub-inch group at 200 yds with 180 gr. remington core-loks.
I'd like to shoot one in .376 Steyr.
