I really enjoy shooting my .22's. I have always been a pistol shooter (target) but I started doing some rifle shooting, mainly offhand but I do have a TIKKA T1X with a vortex scope that I shoot sometimes. Right now I have a pretty good collection, with a winchester single shot 67, 62 pump, 9422. plus a CZ 455 LUX. I bought a pedrosoli SHARPS IN .22 with set triggers and I recently picked up a very nice BRNO #2-E. I read some reviews on the STEYR and they are all good. I like this rifle as it has the military style tangent sights on it like the BRNO. I like these much better than the williams type sights on my 455. Has anyone had some firsthand experience with these rifles?

Thanks STEVE

I have read a number of the reviews at rimfirecentral and they are all quite good, I was just hoping someone here had some firsthand experience with it compared to a CZ or BRNO. I love how my BRNO shoots and I am not sure if spending $1500 plus tax would be justified.

THANKS STEVE

I have one of the newer Zepher 2 fullstock versions and love it.The only criticism I have on mine is the the front sight blade is a bit hard to see centred in the rear sight do to the color or actually lack of it.I solved that problem by painting it.I bought the steyr fullstock mainly because I wanted something a bit unique and the steyr delivers, it is a quality rifle with a unique look and it is quite accurate as well.I think that it is one of those riles that years from now people will say I should of bought one of those when they were still making them.As far justifying the price your the only one who can really decide if it s worth it or not
