STI 1911 roll marks - can someone measure depth?

I kinda wanna buy another STI since selling my last 1911 (Ranger II) years ago.. but the roll marks on the slide were hugely annoying. Not sure why they felt the need to plaster a billboard on one side of the slide. Im wondering how deep these roll marks are so I could file/machine them away without thinning the slide too much.

Does anyone with a Ranger or Trojan have the means to measure the depth of the big-ass roll marks on the slide? Just the name of the gun itself, not the STI texas logo.

They are too deep to file away but the more recent gen guns (last 2-3 years) have much smaller roll marks fwiw
