Sti Edge vs Para16-40

Between these two Sti Edge or Para 16-40.
Witch one would you guys go for and why?
My wallet is going for the Para but i heard that there is a quality issue at Para.
I'm calling toward experience soothers, for some feedback!

Sti if you can swing it. Para is not even in the same league. This is coming from a para owner.

sti edge would be my choice of the two. blued if money is an issue or if u can swing it the hard chome is nice

what kind of shooting are you going to do ? if it's plinking or ipsc take the cheapest . if it's to hang on your wall , then go for the cool effect .

Yup....no comparison here. Para's are junk.... I assisted in a Para demo day at our club and we couldn't keep anything running. We went through the supplied pistols and two personal pistols (2 were 16-40's), 4 in total and we were not running them hard.
The Edge is an awesome rig and will run...so will any STI for that matter. STI is the only 1911/2011 that has stood the tests of high round counts, extended sessions, etc. At least for me..
Sean or Gunnar can set you up with any if the popular models.
