STI GP6 IDPA Holster

Just wondering what holsters are out there for the GP6, for IDPA. Did some Google searches, but nothing is really jumping out at me, though, my Google Foo is weak

If the Bladetech DOH is approved, you can probably get one from Double Tap Sports.

Blade Tech is legal, we have a shooter at our club with one. Give Josko at Double Tap Sports a call, he has them and is great to deal with.

The Bladetech is legal without the Dropped offset portion. They are a plastic insert between the holster proper and the belt attachment.
It is not a legal holster with the dropped offset portion installed.

Actually, I have a DOH coming from Josko.......I just hate taking a Holster off and on an IPSC belt when it is already set up. Guess I will just order a Blade tech without the DOH attachment.

Blade-Tech makes both the DOH (dropped offset holster) and the UCH (ultimate concealment holster) to fit the STI GP6 specifically . The DOH is an excellent range holster that is ideal for IPSC production division. As mentioned, the dropped offset spacer can be removed (and replaced) easily in just a matter of minutes, and makes the holster legal and ideal for IDPA. The UCH is an inside-the-waistband holster that is ideal for CCW and legal for IDPA.

If you want a Blade-Tech holster for your GP6, buy one made expressly for the GP6. You can get it directly from Blade-Tech or from a Canadian stocking dealer like http://www.doubletapsports.com/. The Blade-Tech for the M&P will fit, but not as well as does the holster for the GP6.

My Blade-Tech M&P holster does not fit my GP6 nearly as well as my Blade-Tech GP6 holster (as expected). I would use it to play, but not in a match.

I'd also give Comp-Tac Holsters a try. Very very high quality kydex gear.

Comp-Tac are good holsters, but are not yet made to fit the STI GP6.
