Anyone use this gun in Production? I like the ergonomics, the grip fits me nicely, but I"m not sure about the recoil and muzzle flip? And how about reliability and parts?

Recoil is minimal being a 9mm and muzzle flip is minimal due to the rotating barrel. Reliabilty, my gun is still rather new just over 1 year now but I haven't had any issues with it. I haven't had to order parts yet so I can't comment on that.

*note: i have the k100 not the gp6*

I spoke to Don Kemble at Area 8, and got to handle one at the vendor table. It's got a nice feel to it, but I have no idea what it shoots like. From what he said, I don't think it'll be available from STI until the end of the summer.

I love mine. Recoil feels different due to the rotary barrel, and I prefer it.

I was a 1911 guy and never could drink the Glock Kool-Aid. I bought two, and tried hard to feel the love. Had to give up. Didn't dig the grip or the mushy trigger.

The GP K100 feels great in my hand. The double action pull is long, but smooth. Not nearly the equal of the SP01 Shadow's DA pull, but good. The single action pull is very nice and the reset is fantastic.

Don't get creative tearing apart the lower, as it's a bit funky going back together. The ball detents that give the safetys thier resistance make reassembly interesting. The spring that tensions the recoil spring guide is also a bit hard to get right. The lower is assembled using stainless steel pins instead of the more common mild steel roll pins.

Yep - latest date for delivery in Canada is August. Looking forward to it! I shot the prototype in France last year, I was impressed.
