Sti now with a g.i. Model. Everyone but remington this time around

Here's another GI model to look at. Though I can't go picking up WWII guns, I like to keep mine simple. No extended beaver tail, or commanders on my guns. Have to wait for the report on this one.

I love STI but I hate how they plaster the model names in GIGANTIC LETTERS engraved on the slides of every single one of their guns, it's so tacky... who's in charge of design down there? Friggin hideous.

+1. Why do so many guns have such huge rollmarks on them nowadays? Does nobody have any sense of taste anymore?

Ditch the grips for some dark brown plastic Keyes mfg GI grips or some classic double diamond hardwoods and so far I'm liking what I'm seeing.

I'm with NAA -- ditch the grips and you've got yourself a winner. Mind you, I don't need another GI retrofit, BUUTTTT, it wouldn't hurt to have one.

Well, if it's supposed to be an "A1" it also needs an arched MSH.

Does it have a proper short guide rod and spring? And NO FPS?
