STI vs SVI

ok i want a high performance 1911 and i would like to know the general oppinion of CNG members should i go for a STI or a SVI and why. thanks

for the price go for the STI...the extra $ can be used for mags and tuneup from Dark.

They are essentially the same guns, but the SVIs are slightly more "custom" and the steel tends to be harder.

The cost difference is usually quite significant though. I'd go with the same advice as Musky Hunter.... For the difference in cost get a tune-up (Armco does a nice one) and get some mags too!
