Sticky Husky

[Win/64]

I have a Husqvarna 1640 3,000 grade with a very sticky bolt. I thought these were supposed to be smooth. What might the problem be?

Lack of lubrication/too much dirt or maybe your action, scope mount or receiver sight screws are too long and sticking through action to bind the bolt...

They are smooth. Chances are the action is binding in the stock causing it to twist and make the bolt tight. After relieving the stock the bolt was slick smooth again. Mauser actions can flex very easily. A good bedding job will cure it also.
