Hey there, I recently purchased a Russian SKS, this is unrelated to my topic, but you have to start at the end of the story to get to the beginning.
First rifle I've ever bought with cosmo all over it, cleaned the metal parts in soapy hot water, and varsol, and I soaked the bolt in laquer thinner because it was obviously full of some goo.. That gun is super clean, the bolt can be shook and makes a nice shaking noise..
My Chinese SKS isn't in the same boat, after hearing the Russian one, I knew I had to take my Chinese one apart. So I did, and began to soak it in varsol, and continually blow it out with the compressor, even after doing this a few times, it sounds no where near like my Russian bolt does..
I really don't want to take the bolt apart, but I also don't want to experience Slam Fire.. Any suggestions?

Taking apart the bolt and cleaning the pin and channel will ease your doubts. I took mine apart, even though it rattled freely, and was surprised how much crap was lurking in there. If you are thinking it's a difficult job, don't worry it's not! If I could do it ,then anyone could. Lots of tutorials on youtube as well.
