stingers in a mark ii bv?

My ruger manuel says not to in their heavy barrels. But what about savage?

I have used them in my savage with no issues.

Buddy uses them almost exclusively in his Mark II BRJ...they work great.

I use them in almost every 22lr I have/had that inclused many savages with skinny and heavy barrels. No issues at all

same here have put 10,000+ rounds of stingers down my savageMII BTVS not one problem

From what I understand stingers are not recommended for Semi's because they can damage the recoil buffer, but they should be fine in a bolt.
