I was wondering what's out there for stock and chassis options for an Anschutz 1416. The rifle is a tack driver and the factory stock is beautiful but I'm just looking to see what is out there as I'm primarily punching holes benchrest style at 50 and 100 yards and it's not really a benchrest style stock

There's not a lot of stock options for the Anschutz 64 repeaters.

There's the Anschutz BR stock made for the 64 S BR rifle. But it may be difficult to find. Nordic doesn't have them in stock and when they last were available they were just under $800.

Boyds Gunstocks say they have stocks for the 64 action, but it's not clear if they will accomodate the larger 64 action receivers that were produced after about 2009. If they do, they will be among the most affordable and they come in a variety of configurations.

McMillan's website says the 1700 Featherweight stock is available for the 64 action.

MDT's LSS-22 chassis was made in an Anschutz 64 model, but the website doesn't currently show one available.

Yes I did. They told me to put in a request and they might do thfm again in the future. I thought the same thing as they shouldn't really have to do anything special as they've made them before.

I believe it was when MDT went from the LSS 22 to LSS RF, they stopped making it available for the 64-action. Technically speaking, they have all the means to do it but it comes down to business demand when making batches of different chassis' and other parts.

Hopefully they do a run of them sometime. Until then I'll have to look at boyds or stick with the factory one
