Stock difference between Tikka CTR and regular T3x?

Any difference between the regular Tikka T3x stock and the CTR? (Aside from the wider bottom metal opening and the fixed cheek riser) Any advantage to swapping?

I believe it also has a wider barrel channel cut ? Similar to the varmints.

I remember I tried to fit my CTR action into my t1x stock and the barrel rubbed. That was a while ago now and I don’t have the stock to try but besides that I don’t think it’s got much difference cause all the forend and grips fit it just the same.

The CTR takes a different magazine, which is about 3 times more expensive than the T3X and the magwell opening is different.

The TACT A1 takes that same CTR magazine ($189.99 + tax).

you can fit any t3x/t3 action into the ctr stock even the regular plastic bottom. there will a little gap nothing to worry about.

If you have to pay for the CTR stock, I would suggest going aftermarket instead. I am not a big fan of the plastic Tikka T3X/CTR stocks compared to their competitors at similar price points. They work but the the stock feels cheap. Proud owner of a Tikka CTR and shot many T3Xs.
