Hi Guys,

I have a stock model 35 that I want to use in IDPA and or IPSC

What division would this gun qualify for?

Also what holsters are available for the 35

I have a blackhawk Serpa for my glock model 22 and would like one for my 35 but they do not make one

what else is out there?

You can shoot it in Stock or Enhanced Service Pistol in IDPA, and Standard in IPSC. Standard and ESP would allow minor modifications, while SSP would not. Technically you could shoot it in IPSC Open Div. too, but you'd be severely handi-capped (unless of course if you modified it heavily). They are not IPSC Production legal (although someone really needs to overturn that rule).

For holsters, a bladetech Dropped off-set would work well for both sports, although you need to remove the dos adapter for IDPA (the dos adapter fits between the holster body and the belt attachment).

What?? a glock that can't be used in production??? Why?

Barrel is too long for IPSC Production rules which is 5" max. Glock 34/35 are 5.3" long.

However, both these guns are OK under USPSA rules so if you shoot in the US, you are good to go. I use my 35 in IDPA in both SSP and ESP divisions.
