Need some help identifying a stock that was dropped off with me. The owner would like to have me sell it for him however we're both stumped as to what it's for. Initially I thought it was for an M98 short action (the indent on the left hand side of the stock near the wrist told me it was for a flip over style safety) but after taking a closer look at the inletting I believe it may be for a .17 or .22 Hornet? Possibly CZ or Anschutz? It really is a nice piece of wood, so I'd like to get it into someones hands who can use it. For reference, .22-250 and .308 are both too long to fit in the magwell. I can get any necessary measurements if needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
